Performance Cooking

It began in 2013 when Hannah Grant, the highly acclaimed chef who pioneered “performance cooking,” met Stacy Sims, a scientist at the forefront of performance nutrition research.

Before meeting, they were both heavily involved in the grueling professional cycling scene. Hannah’s performance cooking technique forever changed the way that pro cyclists eat. Working for Stanford University and USA Cycling, Stacy’s research spawned an entirely new generation of hydration products.

The two hit it off immediately and set out to explore ways to improve the performance of cyclists by reducing the effects of physical stress and dehydration. During their research, they looked into the impact that jet lag has on athletes who travel the globe to compete. From this, they became aware of the massive effect dehydration has on the body when flying.

The Grand Tour Cookbook

Their groundbreaking discoveries lead to the creation of The Grand Tour Cookbook, which is the authoritative guide to performance cooking. Endorsed by cycling legend Greg LeMond, it instantly became a must-have for cycling aficionados who are serious about nutritional intake.

The long awaited ultimate performance cookbook, a modern classic, a must-have for all cycling aficionados serious about nutritional intake. Translated from the original in Danish, Hannah Grant s unmissable cookbook takes you through a 3 week, with 350-pages of easy-to-prepare recipes containing allergy friendly, natural, un-processed foods, The Grand Tour Cookbook is the ultimate companion in the kitchen for athletes. Based on actual food prepared for professional cycling s grueling 3-week Grand Tours including the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France and the Vuelta, this book is a guide on how to cook, what to eat and how to maximize athletic performance throughout the year.

Eat. Race. Win.

Eat Race Win – chef Hannah Grant's second sports nutrition cookbook, following The Grand Tour Cookbook – is a usable and ultimately interesting read that might help shed light on areas of nutrition that you've yet to optimise.

The ultimate jetlag cure

Spending hours on board an aircraft and flying through several time zones dulls the sharpest of minds, exhausts the fittest of bodies, and ruins the most thoughtfully-prepared plans.

If you’ve ever been on a long-haul flight, chances are you’ve dealt with jet lag. The difficulty sleeping, daytime fatigue, stomach problems, and general “under the weather” feeling all plague hundreds of millions of travelers every year.

After conducting more research, we realized that dehydration has a much more significant impact on the body during long-haul flights than was previously thought. This discovery lead us to create My Flight Pack.

We believe it’s time to take on jet lag because long-haul travel should be effortless and inspiring. By combining trailblazing sports science with world-class culinary expertise, we’ve developed a solution that successfully tackles jet lag and travel fatigue through hydration.

We are on a journey to make long-distance air travel easy and enjoyable—and we are taking a global community of travelers with us.
